I just wanted to say thank you to Gemma in Chester who has been so good at trying to help my son during lessons. Gemma has made some alterations to try and make sure my son can focus on Gemma's instructions whilst Erin is also teaching another class in the next lane. She said they’re going to try and not talk at the same time and that they’ll give feedback at different ends of the pool. It is so appreciated that the teachers are making these changes just to make sure the lessons are more accessible and successful for my son. I just wanted to feedback to them that this hasn’t gone unnoticed and my son was very happy after the session today.

My daughter and I attended the free swimming assessment at Chester King’s school this morning. 

Please give many thanks and praise to Gemma who helped my very nervous daughter. By the end of the session she was swimming to me with arm floats on after initially not wanting to step foot even in the pool area.

My daughter had an amazing week at the fast track swimming with Holly. Throughout the week, there was a noticeable improvement in her breaststroke technique and front crawl breathing. Under Holly's guidance each day, her breathing during front crawl became much smoother, resulting in an enhanced stroke. Although she traditionally had challenges with the leg kick in breaststroke, by the end of the week, her leg kick had significantly improved. She even started practicing skills for the level above. We highly recommend the fast track course and thank Holly for her exceptional coaching.

Westbury Swimarium is a fantastic pool! Lovely and warm with a UV filter so less chemicals and no stingy eyes or chlorine smell! I love teaching here in this state of the art pool. And the aqua ladies are awesome!! Long live Westbury Swimarium!!

My daughter has been swimming with the Swim School for two years. Starting in the beginner with parent classes, too nervous to let go of the sides. She has very quickly progressed up through the grades & is now in the stroke improver class. The teaching staff at the swim school are beyond amazing, their style of teaching allows children to learn whilst having fun & they invest all of their time & effort into each lesson. They deliver the lessons with confidence, they’re structured but relaxed for the children, incredibly enjoyable to watch & have become a regular part of her life. She looks forward to going each week & despite her behaviour being challenging at certain times, the teachers remain patient & provide support. The lessons are ALWAYS fun & the teachers are GREAT! They really make the most of the whole 45 minutes of teaching and the round up at the end of the lesson is fantastic & provides us parents & children with communication regarding what they are working on & how they have improved, which helps when discussing the lesson at home & recapping what they have achieved. I can relax knowing she is safe & gaining life long skills. I am so glad I chose the Swim School to teach my daughter. Thank you so much!

My three children moved here from a previous local pool’s lessons. They hadn’t really made much progress and the youngest two had been in the same stage for 11 months. Since joining the swim school all three have come on leaps and bounds with their swimming, it’s remarkable. My eldest has developed such a love of swimming that he now wants to progress on to competitive swimming, when just 1 year ago he wanted to quit swimming as it was “boring”.

I no longer have a battle with getting them in the pool because the lessons are fun, they even asked to attend the latest fast track course so they could swim everyday!

It just goes to show that the right teachers & environment can nurture true passion for sport - and that it wasn’t swimming that was boring, but the previous place/ lessons!

My son had his first lesson here with his school and he was very apprehensive. But the lady's made him feel so comfortable and he ended up gaining loads of confidence and wanting to go back in soon as he got out. Lovely pool and great staff

My son has weekly lessons here and absolutely loves them! He has made such amazing quick progress since starting in Dec. The kids are constantly kept busy in the lesson and do lots of swimming. Lots of fun games and toys which engage the children. My boy loves it when they have free time at the end with lights and music. All the staff are super friendly and engaging with adults watching. I love that the pool doesn't have lots of chlorine too and doesn't burn little ones eyes. Sites always clean and tidy and plenty of changing spaces and car parking spaces too.
We have also just done the intense course this half term with both of my boys and they absolutely loved going daily. Big thanks to Abbie!!

The swim school at Westbury is a fun, warm, encouraging environment for both children and adult lessons! I love that there is a UV filtration system so you don't come away from lessons smelling of chlorine - the lights and sound system are amazing too! Fantastic staff and amazing swim teachers - highly recommend!

Lovely and warm pool! Amazing teachers who help to push your learning and continuously help your progression week after week! Management is incredibly helpful too.

The confidence I’ve gained in the water since starting adult lessons has been phenomenal, thank you to all at Westbury Swimarium.

My two girls have just been for a swim assessment in Westbury… And we are about to book them in for lessons with your gorgeous team. Typically, I can’t remember the name of the lovely lady who was running the assessment this afternoon, but all three of the staff on poolside were delightful, kind, caring, sweet, friendly… All the good things!

Firstly, can I just say how utterly delightful the staff were… friendly, fun, engaging, kind. So a big thank you to them, especially as I thought my girls would lack confidence, but the staff gave them lots of praise and encouragement which helped them to feel supported throughout the assessment.

My son has been having lessons for a few months. We tried mainstream lessons to start, then moved to the SEN classes due to his ADHD…This was all done with help and ease and his best interests considered. He has come along massively with the help of Kayleigh and Abbey.

Just to say that I keep being impressed by how much the girls (especially Bex B and Sophie) keep reviewing the aqua fit lessons. The addition of pictures to aid visualisation and differentiated levels of ability to engage everyone during aqua circuit are a great thought. Well done for always trying to think of ways to improve the sessions and making it accessible for all. I have been coming since September last year and I never get bored as you provide such variety.

It isn't often I feel compelled to send a message but I just wanted to send a shout out to Kayleigh. She isn't my daughters regular swim teacher but has covered 3 of her lessons so far. My daughter really responds well to Kayleigh's teaching!! My daughter is easily distracted and Kayleigh manages to keep them all engaged and motivated throughout the lesson.
